Ranzo? Who is Ranzo?

Ranzo
by Michael Rosen
Who rolled in the mud
behind the garage door?
Who left footprints
across the kitchen floor?

I know a dog whose nose is cold
I know a dog whose nose is cold

Who chased raindrops
down the windows?
Who smudged the glass
with the end of his nose?

I know a dog whose nose is cold
I know a dog whose nose is cold

Who wants a bath
and a big crunchy biscuit?
Who wants to bed down
in his fireside basket?

Me and Ranzo
I’m the dog with a cold.

Book Weeks

Fantastic book weeks

Ethan’s mum came and read Wombat Stew to us.  She is awesome at reading stories.  Then we had a book swap.  We enjoyed exchanging our books.  Then Neil came and read us a funny story about a police horse.

Great Gabby

I had a great weekend with Gabby and her family.  I really like how everyone looked after me.  I have lots of new friends.  Thank you Gabby

Super Stars

Gross Germs

We grossed ourselves out.  We grew germs.  It was not a pleasant activity.  First we took swabs of lots of different body parts: noses, mouths, toes, ears, fingers, fingernails and inside Stellar’s leg cast.  Then we took swabs of door handles, toilet flush buttons and the bottom of stellar’s crutches.

The germs were left to grow for a week.  We were surprised to see things growing.  Some of the germs looked the same and others looked really interesting.  We had bright orange germs that looked like a brain and some germs that looked like the mold that grows on food.

Because we do not know which were good and which were bad, we decided that it was best to make sure we wash our hands after going to the toilet and before we eat.  It is also a good idea to stop picking our noses and nibbling finger and toe nails.

GERMS ARE EVERYWHERE - They are an important part of our life.

Healthy Fun With Paige

I have never been to a hospital before.  Thanks for taking me.  Now we know everyone is healthy.
