Where in New Zealand am I?


Where in New Zealand am I?
I am in the South Island.  I have a lake.  You can go bungee jumping and you can go skiing, too.  Also, you can go on a jet boat.  Tourists love me.

I am in the North Island.  I am close to the Pacific Ocean.  I have the largest open cast gold mine in New Zealand.  I have a beach.  I am between Auckland and Tauranga.
